FAQ

Your Appointment – Initial Assessment

At your first appointment, your physiotherapist will take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle to get a full picture of your condition. They may examine the affected area and assess factors such as your strength, flexibility, and balance.

Based on their findings, your physiotherapist will discuss suitable treatment options with you and recommend how many sessions may be needed to help you achieve the best results.

Dependent on time, there will be a small amount of hands-on treatment.

We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement. Your physiotherapist may need to see or assess the area being treated, so please wear or bring suitable clothing — for example, shorts for a leg injury or a vest top for a shoulder or back issue.

If you’re coming straight from work, feel free to bring a change of clothes to change into before your session.

Most sessions are up to 30 minutes, unless you have booked a longer session.
